Careful with that stuff - it is a powerful acid cleaner. It'll work on painted wheels but will strip any kind of protection you apply to it. Never use it on unpainted or chrome wheels.

Something like this?

As for any "spray on rinse off" wheel cleaner, I've never seen one that 100% works - at least not on a dirty wheel. A brush and some agitation is required to really get the wheels clean.

BTW, how much was the S100 Wheel Gel and how much did you get? (If you don't mind me asking...) My P21s is still in the mail...

The main appeal about P21S (S100) is that it's safe for all wheels. Plus it's non-acidic so I don't gotta worry about my health. Many wheel cleaners have more warnings than anything else: use goggles, rinse off within 1 minute, don't use on this type of wheel, wear breathing apparatus, etc.

Two threads I found on autopia:
http://autopia.org/forum/detailing-p...rightener.html
http://autopia.org/forum/detailing-p...ghtener-2.html

My take: it works well, but it's pretty harsh. Just use it safely. And it's way cheaper than the P21s stuff!
This post sums up the health concern.

Just a word of caution for those looking to trek to SF, City Paints is out of the P21S wheel gel. They do have Zymol and Klasse though.

yeah, but even less white bubbly stuff.

i kinda compared it to another wheel cleaner stuff i got for like $5-6 from like walmart/target/etc.

i went to the harley store in san ramon. they had it for like $9.50'ish.

fremont harley and hayward harley were all out, or didnt sell it.

I just special ordered the s100 wheel cleaner from a local motorcycle shop for 8.95+tax and it should come in in the next few days, so at some point next week I'll clean my wheels and post up how well it worked

they carry it at the harley dealership off the 152 exit. Highway one in watsonville. Over there by target and what not.

They have a good selection of the s100 line and the harley line which is also good.

Adam's is a local guy in salinas. His stuff is TOP NOTCH. I talked to him in person for about an hour last year about his products. Does a great job from what I saw.

Tried it thought it was better than anything ive used but not as much as I was hoping for. Is s100 for sure the same as p21s???

Whats a better wheel cleaner?

What can I use to take off black/yellowed (aspen white) rear bumper. Not too many miles on it but before I got it tune was horrid.
