Where to Get **3M** or STRONG Double-stick Tape..Been 2 Kragen, Home Depot, etc
Hi everyone,
I'm trying to attach a few interior & exterior items on my WRX and am having a really tough time finding a place that sells strong, double stick tape. I've been to HOME DEPOT, KRAGEN, OFFICE DEPOT & none of them had the 3M Brand double stick that I've looking for. I spent the whole afternoon driving around w/no luck!
I did find regular 3M double stick for mounting posters at Home Depot & Office Depot and some molding tape @ Kragen, but both were pretty flimsy. I'm looking for the heavy duty stuff like body shops use on body kits & such.
Does anyone know anywhere close to SF I can find some **HEAVY DUTY** double stick--preferably 3M, which I hear is the strongest/most durable?
Thanks in advance,
CL

Try your local Radio Shack. They sell two types of foam double-sided tape, one of them being Supermount Tape. I believe this is a 3M product.

Find an autobody supply shop, getting the double-sided trim tape. You want to get the real 3M stuff here.....yes, it really is THAT much better than the suggestions I've seen so far in this thread

I want something strong & "permanent" but not THAT permanent! j/k
Thanks to everyone for your input and help! I have been informed by several parties, incl a couple who replied here, that my best bet is "3m body tape" from an auto paint supply shop.
When I track down a place in SF, I'll post in case there are others that wanna stick stuff on their cars---Supra wings, Combat kits, Skyline tail lights, Type R emblems, etc. j/k
