dude it's called Kragen. or your local parts store lol.

You do realize the way the manufacturing world works right? Subaru doesn't make oil filters - one company (say Bosch, Deplhi, Borg Warner) will supply the SAME item to both OEMs and aftermarket.

The OEM then marks it up cause it says Subaru on it.

Same you'll notice: go to TurboXS site and look at their pricing for FMIC, TMIC, exhausts. Then search around and you see other vendors sell TurboXS stuff for cheaper. TurboXS charges you more b/c you think you're somehow getting better service, quality because you are buying it direct from the source for the same exact item

^^ Yes, and the more vendors a part passes through, the more you are paying.

Dude I used to work at an auto parts store and we used to deal with a place called IMC. They only deal to auto stores, but they are the ones who import the same parts that you buy at the dealership. The only real difference is the package it comes in. I usually go to a Winchester Auto parts, or another Parts Plus store, as they usually have the best knowledge/parts/service. Whatever you do, do not go to Kragen, you will get screwed one way or another...I promise!

I also find it very amusing that with all the drama, everyone CLAIMS to hate Jamie "Subiegal", but if anyone asks where to get parts, her website is among the first, and definitely the most often mentioned place to go.

Of course for the special customers who live in parts of Sonoma County, I have taken their order/information over the phone, then met up with them to deliver their parts to them...

...or shipped parts to those not local to my location.

Our only dealership within like 300 miles has 1 parts guy, he isn't there on weekends at all and is off for lunch for noon to 1, when everyone else takes lunch. Driving to SR or Redding for parts is not an option for us.

For oil filters they are pretty much even with dealership pricing

Spark plugs (one step colder): www.scoobytuner.com
air filter: STP from autozone
oil filter: dealership
oil: mobil1 from costco ($30 for 6 qts)
brake fluid: LIC when they did the system flush
fuel filter: www.subaruparts.com (different store from subarugenuineparts.com but same product)

those parts you just go to dealer, the price is OKAY reasonable. and like the others say, buy suby bucks and then go buy it.
