Subiesport Informant E-Newsletter! http://www.subiesport.com/
Happy Thanksgiving!
We've been spending the last couple weeks putting issue number two
together and shipping it off to pre-press. Not sure about everyone else,
but this crew is ready to stuff down some turkey and do nothing more
then spend a few days digesting...
That said, we have a couple quickies we wanted to announce before we
head out of town:
The Canadian rally authority, CARS, has had a very busy week. First, the
agreement between CARS and its marketing group (RDG) is terminated, then
Subaru decides to not support the Canadian series into 2005.
Coincidence? Unlikely. Here's a link to Subaru's Canadian rally site
http://www.subarurallyteam.com/home.asp, which has more details from
Subaru's side of the fence.
This may be old news now, but Subaru announced that its new crossover
SUV will be dubbed the B9X. Details are currently few, however, we
started a new site to keep track of its development:
http://www.b9xclubs.com
In addition to putting together the next issue (which we think looks
pretty darn good), and whipping out the B9XClub, we also recently re-did
the Subiesport web site http://www.subiesport.com/. It has a
multitude of new features; including a new link directory
http://bbs.subiesport.com/forums/local_links.php? (register and you
can add your own site), member forums
http://bbs.subiesport.com/forums/index.php?, and more. If you look
around, you'll also also find a preview image of the next issue's cover!
Lastly, since there were a few instances of our last issue getting
munched in the mail, we decided to have future issues shrink-wrapped
before shipping. We're running this process as a trial on the next
issue.

The new issue (Feb05) is mailing later this week, it just came off the press on schedule. Subscribers should receive this next issue by the first week of January, with newsstands getting them shortly thereafter. If you get yours sooner--as many of you will--be happy!
According to my live stock reports from B&N, issue number one is selling out pretty quick. So even stores that had copies in early November may have run out. In the next three weeks of sales they're bound to get thinner yet. Oh, and we're not in Borders, so no bother checking there.
If anyone has specific subscription questions please post them to the customer service section of our sub site: https://www.themagstore.com/?ProductCode=sub
...it may take a couple days to get a response, but you will get one.
Cheers,
Ryan Douthit
