Where can I get a decent paintjob cheap?

Like $500 or less? I dont mind prepping much of the car myself. I can spend a weekend sanding, but I want to know where I can get a paint job that wont flake off in two months...

Anyone?

decent paintjob and $500 usually dont mix well

If you are experienced and do ALL the prep work very well, then some earl scheib/maaco type places will do a good job.

Paint job and cheap should not be used in a same sentance...

If you are concerned about price, forget about quality.

no, its like a job of its own. my buddy worked at miracles and knew the owner and whatever, so met alot of painters and auto bodys guys, alot of those guys do sides jobs, pick your paint, Hire a guy for bodywork(might also be your prep guy), and then rent a painter and a booth, alot of privately owned paint shops rent their booths out, something like $50 for 6 hours. and the painter depends on who and what you guys work out. this was the process for me bodywork/prep, then found a both for rent and hired a painter for the day with his own equipment. set up the day with the painter and bodyman because I i drove the car to the booth, then the body guy would give the car the once over and wet sand, plus mask the car for the booth. go grab some lunch with the body guy let the painter do his thing, then come back and remove masking paper and check out the work. bam bam bam.....thats how much it cost for me through people. was $800 and some change.
