Where can I find OEM 04 STi struts that don't cost an arm and a leg??

Where can I find OEM 04 STi struts that don't cost an arm and a leg??
Is it possible to find these for less than $300 per strut? So bummed on strut options for this damn car

Did you damage yours?
Besides the classifieds, have you considered Tokico D-specs?
Or if you need a revalve with your current struts, you should do the FEAL revalve.

Like mentioned above you can use Tokico D-spec shocks, lucky
As and 05 owner we really have no options, unless their are options I'm unaware of.

No damage that I'm aware of, its just that my car is nearly 8 years old and seen its fair share of of pot holes and uneven pavement and I'd like to freshen it up. Also, I'm on JDM pink springs which is kinda firm and I'm thinking of switching to Swift springs. I've researched the D-specs but I guess the rear doesn't fit 100% which results in a clunking noise. The Koni insert route is tempting but sourcing and installing is too much effort. Lastly I'd love some nice coilovers with good dampening but I think thats a bit overkill for daily driving. Plus with all the bad roads I would be pissed if I ruined them, it only takes one bad pot hole!

You should go back to stock STI springs for a more comfortable ride, or get the swifts if you want to be lowered slightly.
You really don't need coilovers.

For the D-specs the rear will fit with the adapter from Turn In Concepts (it's a metal spacer). Seriously a great bang for buck strut that actually performs well.

)The drop with the jdm pinks are perfect - do the swift springs have the same amount of drop?

i have epic progressive rates on tokico d-specs and love it...
it's my dd also. drop is not much.
no clunk whatsoever. and like above, get the spacers for the rear.
just be aware that your camber will probably go to poop when done, in the rear at least... not sure what you are looking for # wise there.
