Where to buy wire harness and din assembly for 02 wrx Cheap??
I'm going to install a new deck in my car and need to find a cheap place to buy the wire harness and din thing. I got quoted $30 something at best buy ....is that about right?

it's basically a din cover. For instance, on the wrx, it comes with an indash 6 cd changer deck. Most people who swap that out get a mp3 deck or something which is 1 din. So you have a open rectangle and the din "thiny" is more of a cover up for it.

It should only cost you $30 at The Good Guys! and Circuit City too. Unless you feel like calling all of the independent stereo dealers, just drop by one of those stores, they're pretty much all the same.
Like other people said $15 for mount and $15 for harness (+ tax of course)
Make sure you solder or use good in-line connectors for your harness

costs around $15 at the dealer. nice silver to match the silver all over the interior, unless you got the carbon fiber fake covers... lol....

At Best Buy we sale Metra good **** The universal pockey cost 18.24 and the harness cost 18.24 and thats after tax suck it up and go buy them just skip breakfast foer one day to make up for the extra cost haha G/L
