Where to buy (Pennzoil) synchromesh (gear oil)?
Anybody have any idea of where I can get a hold of some Pennzoil synchromesh here in the bay? I know that Pennzoil produces it for GM and they have it at their dealerships but it's $10 a quart and i just see if there are any autopart stores carrying it for a more affordable price.......any help is appreciated, thanks!

Autozone has it, I had to drive to 3 to find it though. Not a big deal considering they were all on the same road within a stretch of about 10 miles... What the hell is up with that?

hmmm... thanks all for the replies ... I did check out a couple autozones here in the SAC area and none of them carried it. Also tried a couple kragen's and even a Napa auto parts here in Davis. I will ask them again to see if they can order it cause I hear that stuff works magic and is definitely worth a try....anybody know of any specific autozones here in Nor-cal that carry it in stock?

I am not sure if it is the 80W-140 stuff that you are talking about. From what I have read I believe it is defined as a GLS lubricant.
For more info/feedback on it:

update:
I called some autozones in the Sac area and I found one that carried the coveted Pennnzoil synchromesh that I have been looking for. It's the one in West Sac on 1400 capitol street. I grabbed two bottles for myself, there was one left on the shelf when i left. 4.99 a quart beats 10 bucks at the GM dealership anyday.
