Lightbulb Where to buy good snow gear now that Tri-City is closed?

Anyone? I have no idea. Ive been using my snowboarding clothes for the past 7 seasons and I need some new gloves and boots before I go up again.

Any ideas besides REI/Any Mountain?

REI is having a big sale right now through this weekend

Although that goes against the ideas you wanted to hear. So I guess this does too, REI is great.

Check out wintersport warehouse in santa clara its right off 101, They have really good prices there. I think they are only open during the winter, so you might want to look them up first.

Skateworks usually has a sale at the end of summer to get rid of a lot of snowboard gear.

If you want to make the drive, Sierra Ski and Snowboard in Sacramento is owned by the son of the former owners of Tri-City. He runs his place the same as his dad ran Tri-City. Same sweet deals on stuff.

They were helpful people but they don't have the range of gear that the other places carry. Worth a look if you are nearby.

I heard that Mel Cotton's is a pretty good store as well, but I haven't been there myself.
