wheel jacked at sjsu
hey guys, i dont really post much but since this happened to me today, i have to rant.
After class I walked back to my car that was parked in the fourth street garage. Everything looked fine because I never look at the passenger side of my car when I get to my car. When i reversed, the car dropped on the front passenger side. When that happened was really pissed off because I knew that one of my wheel was gone. After that I put on the spare and drove home with a pissed off look the whole way home.
Okay, end of rant.
What should i do now? Get new wheels, or get the oem bbs wheels from the dealer?

Ouch dude that sucks hard. Did you call the campus police to file a report? You'll need it for insurance.
As to what rims to get, I know that a Subaru dealer will fleece you for an OEM rim. If it were me I'd get a set of used non-OEM rims.

I would try to find one via the Nor-Cal classified section here. It always seems like someone is selling an odd number of STi rims, and there have been a rash of totalled STi's lately. I think you should be able to find one here before you get taken at the dealership or have to go for a full aftermarket set.

damn that is ghetto and ****ed up. i say just go with some aftermarket wheels. hell u can get a set of nice rota's for your car from subydude for a good price. just make sure u pick up some nice wheel locks for your next set of wheels and maybe invest in an alarm system with tilt sensors

yes they can break wheel locks, but hey..it still makes the job harder...and who knows he could have caught them in the act. its better to have some kind of protection than to have no protection
