For people worried about stuff..

Get some blue painters tape at home depot. Tape the car up... All good...
Go get a lifetime aglinment at firestone.... lol

I run my car in the dirt on slammed Tein Flexs ...... So anyone with springs on stock struts.. Just do it... Its your chance to legally go have fun without getting a ticket or jail time. Let alone learn something new about your car and how to drive it.

Doo IT!

I sold my Subaru. Only have a low, stiffly sprung MR2 and a Mini Cooper. My wife's car would work but she would kill me in my sleep if I RallyXd her car.

This sounds like a laugh. How bumpy are we talking for a course? I'm running stock-ish ride heights on my GC setup, Proxes 4s on my winter wheels and have a Primitive undertray and rear diff guard. That all about right for this lark?

I would have loved to go but I'm a 2nd semester nursing student and I have clinicals on Friday night from 2-10. Not to mention summer tires as well.

Perfect. I did the prairie city one last year in my '91 Justy and it was so much fun. Most of the cars there were mostly stock. There were even a couple brand new ones - one new Evo X.

I meant Ground Control coils rather than GC chassis... But I can always touch up my paint.

Perfect!, seriously... if you were to go to Sacto or T-hill I' dsay to crank the ride height to the top, but vallejo should stay pretty smooth.

Well the school certainly looked like fun. Took a spin up there and snapped some pics. Full set here.

Getting to this thread a bit late, but I hope he showed up. It was always nice to have another Honda Civic Wagon out there competing. Haven't been to a RallyX since my HCW was totaled, so haven't seen him in a while.

WTF are you guys on!? do you realize what a rare occasion this is?! RallyX in the Bay Area!

Use those "mud"flaps for something besides road dust or protecting your precious paint!

Even if your car is lowered/stiff, i think its a pretty smooth lot (by six flags) I dont know, maybe someone else that has been there can tell you.

Otherwise rallycross will remain 150+ miles away
Next time drop me a line. I'm not all up on the rallyX info tip.
