What's wrong with you Bay Area Subaru owners!?
There is a Rallycross in Vallejo on Sunday and there are only 17 entries!
WTF are you guys on!? do you realize what a rare occasion this is?! RallyX in the Bay Area!
Use those "mud"flaps for something besides road dust or protecting your precious paint!
Even if your car is lowered/stiff, i think its a pretty smooth lot (by six flags) I dont know, maybe someone else that has been there can tell you.
Otherwise rallycross will remain 150+ miles away

Perhaps a lot of Subaru owners here in the Bay Area are like me - not (yet?) interested in RallyX. Road course or AutoX, sure. RallyX? Not yet.
Don't get me wrong, had I known about this a few weeks earlier, I'd probably show up to watch (at the very least). Heck, I'd love to sit shot gun with a good driver doing RallyX, just to get a good gauge if it's something I'll enjoy.
Yes, my mud flaps are strictly for protecting my precious ****ty paint from getting sand blasted from regular driving.
Now that I've answered your question, here's mine: Were there people that complained about RallyX being 150+ miles away, and did they sign up for the event at Vallejo?

im pretty sure most of the entries on the list are from the Bay
I think the one guy in the AWD civic lives by me, he is like 60+ years old! there is also an AWD Del Sol in Boulder Creek. He goes to quite a few rallyX's
Matt in Monterey is like 300 miles away from ANY action, except Laguna Seca and Marina...he can walk there haha.
We need to get Altamont Rallyx back, that was legendary.
I can see people not wanting to get muddy, because mud is a PITA, but this should be prime track/weather conditions. I just dont understand why there are only 17 entries, when its usually around 40-50. Altamont had 90 IIRC
I guess rally will remain dead, which is good in a way...look what "fans" did drifting...wouldnt want that to happen to rally.

I went to one in Antioch 2 years ago and while it was fun, a few things bugged me:
It's an all day thing
Need a helmet
Costs money
I have lots of mods and would be stuck in the highest bracket
Plus the antioch course sucked - it was all bumpy and jacked my alignment.

There's going to be at least one Forester suspension there, and possibly a Forester on a WRX suspension...I haven't decided between Slynki ('98 Foz on WRX struts/Prodrive springs) and Svixen ('92 SVX on stock suspension).
