to tell you the truth, and my god.. I can see everyone picking up clubs and about to bash me for this... but, it seems like UCKK is kinda dieing? It seems attendance is getting less and less from what I've heard. Also, like you said, more non-Subarus than Subarus at the meet. Not necessarily a bad thing, more variety/diversity and respect for other cars/clubs are just as important.
I don't know... I think there's gotta be a big spark for UCKK to be "living" to being the biggest regular Subaru meet again. Times are changing... people getting bored or moving on? I know lots of people already traded their Subarus for other cars now... like the Evolutions? Or entering the higher price ranged cars?

I don't know what it is, but Rob and I went to the LIC meet yesterday up in the north bay adn that owned UCKK, and everyone knows there are a lot more people out in the fremont/unioncity/hayward area then the northbay.
It started dying after that whole getting kicked out thing happened....but we haven't been hassled since...

Oh yeah, UCKK was very cliqueish... people hung with the same people usually in their small little circles. Now people don't need to travel so far to do that.
A few feathers getting ruffled shouldn't stop the meet. If people start showing up more again, I think it would revive it just like a spark.
Also, I think if you look at the meets section... it's been blowing up. Therefore, people are going to meets closer to them or more convenient to their schedules which is rightfully fair. However, it does tend to split up the bigger meets...

Maybe I'm going off on a limb here, but like every car club out there, meets die out or evolve as in practically a new generation of newcomers showing up.
Holy crap I'm post whoring today! LOL Maybe it's cause I have no school...

you guys are forgetting something....
it's winter. Winter means cold. Winter means rain. The meets always die down during the winter.
between that and all the drama that went on for pretty much 6 weeks strait...people cut out. Now there are mini-meets all over the place so you can go meet with your clique closer to you house.
I think we should do some bbq meets or hit up some kart racing or something like that. Mix it up.

Yeah most definately. If you try the summer, all the people you've met before practically start showing up again. This is probably because a chunk load of i-clubbers are in school and can only show up to meets on convenient, stress-free, relaxed time which is like... only summer.
I know some clubbers never ever show their faces unless it's a big meet like Mt. Hammy or a Subby track day or something. Not everyone becomes regulars too... and the regulars just have their phase and don't want to do it anymore...

a lot of suby owners I've met can't stand the UCKK meets. no offense intended, but the guys at the UCKK meets, on average, aren't as knowledgeable as the guys I've seen at other meets.
After buying my suby i went to the UCKK meet and left with the following advice:
"remove your silencer, it will add horsepower and mpg"
"accessports are useless, they aren't half as good as people say they are"
I also find the meet less appealing because 90% of the kids their got their wrx (always blue) as a gift from their parents.
It's a whole different world at other meets where I see a diverse crowd of subarus and guys that seem to know everything about suy's.
Once again, no offense intended... that's just why I don't go. I prefer the slightly older crowd that i see elsewhere.

I've been a regular to UCKK for a while but latley I haven't been able to make it consistently due to work/school. Typically now my Tuesdays are like this:
School in the morning/afternoon
Working late afternoon till around 9pm
Go home do homework or go to sleep (If no hw and I'm not tired I'll show up)
