(edit- truly don't mean anny offense...just thought I'd post this to get even with Gold wheel haters )
You must have seen Mike (dorifto88) this past weekend, didn't you?

i have gunmetal wheels and love em. I don't like the "BLING BLING" crome look at all. it's too rice.
the dark colored wheels comes for GT race cars. And i like to think of my car as a "race car" and not a "cruiser"

long live dark wheels

Hey, dark wheels are cool... I have anthracite but I also like the dark bronze ones too, though I'm not much of a fan of the straight black wheels. Black looks ok on some Subies but not all.

OK I confess... I actually like gunmetal alot. I can understand the appreciation for gold-on-white, but I'm not a fan of it. Gunmetal on white would probably look OK, but not great. My favorite color combo though, is the WRB with volk gunmetal. crap-my-pants. But hey, everyone has WRB or silver. So I have white on white (on white....boy)

I just picked up some steel grey subzeros w/ polished lips. I've always had silver rims so buying darker rims was a change. IMHO, they look good on my red car (except for the rubbing ).

I have gunmetal becuase 1) they are P1's and the P1 car in Britian came with gunmetal rims, and 2) I am too lazy to clean my wheels all the time so it hides dust really well. But soon I will switch for gold or bronze.

jason, i always think your car looks like an RC with your white rims, cuz all of my friends' rc's have those white rims that you buy unpainted and they never bothered to paint them =P
