My Verizon contract expired last Aug. I won't be going with Verizon anymore b/c the phones are pretty much junk. Anyhow, I'm looking for a new GSM phone now and was looking at the Razr2 or the iPhone but not sure what else is out there. The iPhone is outplayed too. Anyone have any suggestions and or advice on phones and where to get a sweet deal on one? I know there's the asian shops but most of those stores won't even disclose the price to you over the phone and will tell you to go in instead.

The Razr2 hasn't been played out but I do agree, every mom and their dog has the original Razr and they are recognizable from a good distance away. Fortunately the Razr2 doesn't look exactly like it's predecessor.

lol.
there are a ton of badass phones out there, just depends how much coin you wanna drop and what you want it to do.
i love nokias but ever since i got the 8525 and now the tilt, i'll never go back to a non-qwerty phone.
i LOVE being able to check e-mails everywhere i am and actually reply to them with ease. the tilt has a built-in gps receiver so all you need to do is dl the software, plenty of links available.
i like windows mobile devices since they're much more customizable. i had a blackjack for 2 weeks, did all i could with it and traded it in for the 8525.
deal-wise, ebay. that's pretty much it especially if you're going after the new hotness from nokia or sony.
