What's the best way to link 2 PS3's together?

Are you trying to just tie 2 ps3s together for a 1 on 1 Lan game or have the two ps3s online so they can game together on the same server while in the same room using different ps3 consoles?

Just trying to link to PS3's so we can do one on one on two TV's (I hate split screen, and since we happen to have 2 PS3's, and 2 TVs, why not).

Remember, it's a cabin in the mountains with no internet access, so we just want to link them together so we can play each other.

It's fun with one on one... when you're in the same room, loser takes a shot, and you go until you can't anymore. lol

There is a flaw in Sony's design if it's THIS difficult to link two together.
