Raekwon's "Only Built 4 Cuban Linx... Pt. II" album. Holy moses, where was THIS in my life!? No major hit single, almost no radio play, yet copies of this CD were flying off the shelves and it's been sitting in the top 3 overall album sales chart on iTunes all week (technically #2 cuz both versions of Jay-Z's "Blueprint 3" were #1 since yesterday).
"House of Flying Daggers" is one of the most aggressive J Dilla beats I've ever heard. It was perfect for the Wu-Tang Clan to jump on it. Add an old kung-fu movie audio clip at the beginning and end of the song and it becomes classic Wu-Tang. That song reminded me so much of "Triumph" from 13 years ago. If I didn't see Dilla in the credits, I could have sworn it was a Rza joint. Great minds think alike.

If it's any consolation, I think it was Big Sean who first did the song or Jackie Chain (What a dumb ****ing name) this is just a verse he spat over the beat. I was definitely like wtf the first time I heard this too, as Robert Miles = the 1st electronica album I bought, but after listening to it a few times, I actually really enjoyed Cudi's verse (and only his)
