I get the same BS when I'm driving my STi as well, ricers act so stupid when they see my car.

 

I got cut off today by some newish Ford truck - the dude goes road rage on me, half hanging out his truck flipping me off. I couldn't stop laughing because the sheer magnitude of his stupidity was too much to bear. I mean he was completely in the wrong, then went ape**** on me since I had to break hard to avoid hitting him. You cut me off, you flip me off, might as well suck me off too right? ****'s crazay.

 

right. i would say if you actually knew me you wouldnt say that. theres always some candyass that wants to bring a thread down.
seems like i manage to attract morons on the internet too. perfect ending to a assclown filed day.
like im the ONLY person who has days like this. GFY.

 

at least i got my oil changed. did you guys know a 7.3L diesel motor takes 15qts of oil and the filter alone holds almost 1.5qts. and if the filter slips out of your hands and spills really hot oil covers you. yah im not happy right now.

if anyone is in the alamo/nut tree area theres prob 20+ civics/integras/celicas at the park. its a ricerfest right now.

 

Why doesn't this **** ever happen to me? No ricer does this crap to me in the forester, and they sure as hell don't do it to me in the 4runner (then again, few eventry to cut off the 4runner, somthing about solid beam steel bumpers 6" tall with a winch, and 4" square rock bars with 5" of lift seems to scare them off )

 

I'd be surprised if all of that stuff didn't happen to me if I lived in Vacaville.

 

That's pretty gnarly. Especially for all in one day.

Back when my exhaust hung too low and I threw sparks all over the freeway people would rev on me like no tomorrow. Since I fixed that problem, things have been better but it still happens occasionally. Even last night there was some *********** in a new STi that was revving at me while we were sitting at a stoplight. The sad part was that his exhaust wasn't even that loud.

 

Problem is - it isn't always harmless..

I had some ricers (civic w/ batwing) rev on me / burn out / take off like bats out of hell while I accelerated away from a light perfectly normally (In a 1g dsm).. Next thing I know A cop whips out of a parking lot and pulls me over - asks me wtf I was doing..

"Uh - nothing? - driving home?"

His response included a racing ticket.. Nevermind a civic with massive batwing flew away from me in a massive cloud of smoke - and I was in a mid 400 whp AWD DSM - definitely racing..

I took it to court. After stating my case, the Judge said - AND I QUOTE

"You were driving a Mitsubishi Eclipse - Of course you were racing, but this was your first offence so I will knock it down from a misdemeanor to an infraction and only fine you $500" - Lodi Superior Court.. Small town BS.

10 years on my record.. Finally fell off..

Moral of the story - eff ricers..

 

I hate those morons. They are everywhere though. Every civic, integra, eclipse, etc... seems to have something to prove. Anytime I see a tach in a civic, I KNOW they don't have anything but that tach... They think because they run steelies with no hubcaps, cut springs, a lower tie bar that they suddenly turned their car into a touring car. Except they forgot about the $20 all season tires, stock motor and lack of driving skill.

I had something similar with a TC. Mad mugging me at a light, deep staging and ****. It was late, nobody around, so what the hell. I burned them hard. Next light, same thing so there was no need to bother again, but I am already at speed. Come over the overpass on Montague and find a cop sitting there. Big fat ticket. F* the ricers. It is pretty much given that they can't win, so don't bother.
