what kind grade oil are u using?

what kind grade oil are u using?

what kind grade oil are u using? subaru says 5w30 on the sti, but when i did my oil change, it came out as thin as water
should i change to 10w30?

if using synthetic oil, use a thicker viscosity rating...

like I used 10W40 Redline in my old WRX (RIP)

10-30 should be good for the bay area, it doesn't get cold enough for 5w under normal conditions.

If you track your car, you should probably throw in some 5w and change it out after the track day....

While I agree that the oil might last that long, I'm not sure the filter will....takes *****!

Would use 10-40 but hard to find.
Doesn't get cold enough here to need 5-anything.
