what are interesting things to do in the bay area? prefereably the city or somewhere in the east bay, but what can i take my gf to go do? just figured some of you guys would havethings i havent heard or thoguht about, any input will help

the best thing to do is just get in the car and drive. your bound to stumble across something

 

Few friends of mine went to the USS Hornet in Alameda...was pretty cool

 

USS hornet is pretty neat, its haunted to =)

 

The Hornet is tight. me and my fiance go there once every few months

take her to the California academy of sciences in golden gate park. you can always do Alcatraz or angle islands.

 

just went there. pretty cool stuff, but the albino alligator was boring as ****.

For shopping, definitely downtown SF or Haight Street. Try riding a cable car? Way more intense than your subie!
