I think you hit the nail on the head. Personally, if people would use the dadgum 'preview' button combined with a little foresight and imagine you are face-to-face with your reply, things would be different. I bet 80% of the crap that is seen here would never happen in person. That is sad, but it only makes the internet badboyz look stupid in the end. We all know what's up these days. I am pretty happy that I can laugh most of it off.

The same deal for those road rage type posts. Most of these things come from a misunderstanding. The guy 'eyeing you out' might be checking out your car going 'hey that's a sweet ride.' Or maybe you forgot you have tint? Maybe he's... Dum da dum... Keeping an eye on traffic. Anyways..

The face to face comments i think is right. I always hear the excuse "well this is an internet forum so whatever, grow a thick skin or go away". Well it may be an internet forum, but in the end there is another person on the other end reading the posts. If we could just have more respect for the person on the other end, i think there would be a lot less drama.

Just in case you didnt notice, he was talking in general! It is true, 100% that teenagers are more likely to talk **** than people of other ages. I know, I (yes, i am still a teen ) used to, when i started posting, sort of have that "urge" to talk **** and do stupid things like that, and i'm sure i have made posts that are not done with my best judgement. However, I, as a few other teenagers (i.e. AWNS, and possibly yourself) on here have realized that that does not give you respect, or add at all to the subaru community. It really is sad that most of the teenagers on here talk so much bull ****, when they really could be adding to the community. They just do not realize that they can get so much more respect when they go to meets if they just act maturely.

That said, alex simply said that because of the experiance he has had with most the teens that come on here. Most of them just want to start things, and play fun with the wonders that is "the internet" and dont want to contribute anything. (Not trying to put words in your mouth alex,) but he realizes that there are mature teenagers on this board who have things to contrubute, just as much as older members. I know that I also, even though i might be the same age as another member who is starting things, can help thinking how immature they are when the spread ***** jokes for example.
Cheers

As cliche as this sounds, "As your mothers have told you, if you can not say anything nice, don't say anything at all."

It's funny, going away for the weekend, coming back and finding this thread. It is funnier to look how upset everyone was at page one, and then come back here and realize how mellow we are now.
