Does your single tip taper to 2 1/2 inches right after the muffler? That's how the Forester-specific Whisper is, that's what makes it quiet -- but it obviously isn't a full 3" exhaust.

The dual-tip is a full 3" exhaust, both of the tips are equal size and don't taper. The thing was LOUD, too loud for me, so I sold it. It was a very nicely-made exhaust.

From what I understand the pain of just trying to get a hold of new MadDad takes a lot of the sheen off their exhaust. Its nice to know there is an actual company and a million mile warranty standing behind my exhaust

True.... I posted a question in the MadDad Vendor forum on one of the suby sites.... 5 months later I posted again. I sent them a couple emails. Etc. Got no information AT ALL. That's part of why I don't have one. They make killer stuff but dealing with them is a PITA so the only way I'd get one is if I came up on a used one.

I guess if you get them on the phone and just pay up front all goes really well. They're just not much for through website communication.

The borla warranty is killer.

For sheer noise. I think I have everyone beat. Jic full ti catback. No resonator no bottle neck. Matted to the fullrace downpipe and twinscroll system with ewg dumps. People say they can hear my turbo few cars away just crusing down the highway
Mine is also as loud with the silencer in as most hks carbon ti's are without.

Im looking to get a slipon street muffler made so i can keep the sound down

Had a borla hush, was my first exhaust, had it about a year and a half...

Loooved it, great sound, I sprayed the muffler black but not the tips, so it looked really great too

but after hearing so many louder subies I had to ditch it and now run a straight pipe cbe (3" no resonator midpipe to a 2.5" axleback and a set of magnaflow twin tips so it still has that look that I love)

Had it over a year now, never got one word or any hassle from cops, even when pulled over for other things cuz its flat black and doesn't get attention

Might as well get the Crawford Gymkhana 1 Exhaust then

How loud is the Borla Hush compared to the Cobb?

I'm cutting the resonator out of my blitz nur Spec r this weekend... I like it loud Plus cops here in Santa Cruz are way chill... Bt considering a straight pipe... I want it louder or But not sure the straight pipe will be much louder...

I get this back from laser and forming end of this week. Hoping its nice and quite. Perforated tubing has 2 small bends in it inside the muffler to hopefully quite it down, which i still need to have mandrel bent. Been waiting 4 weeks now since i sent the file. better sound good!
