What does a blood alcohol content of 0.08% or more feel like?
So the law in California is: DUI with a blood alcohol content (BAC) of 0.08% or more.
Ignoring the driving part, what does a BAC of 0.08% "feel like"?
IE, you don't have a BAC meter on hand, so approximately what does if feel like?
I'm assuming that weight is factored out because BAC is a ratio.
Are you buzzing? Can you even sense it? Or are you straight spinning?

Depends on the person. someone can take a shot and be through, others can drink a lot more. People can handle alcohol differently and tolerances rise. This is the way it is, your .08 will change as your habits of drinking change.

Another question related... So lets say three shots gets me plastered... but later on down the road in life drinking 3 shots doesn't even give me a buzz. Would my BAC be the same for both times (lets say hypothetically I didn't change physically in weight or height)?
Basically, does BAC directly correlate to how drunk you feel or can you have a super high BAC and not feel a thing (or be **** faced and be 'legally' able to drive)?

This is a loaded question. A light drinker may not be able to safely drive after a drink or two... meanwhile a seasoned drinker, heavy in weight can have six drinks and not even feel it.
My personal take is.... if you have to think twice about weather or not you should drive after some drinks..... then the answer is NO, DONT DRIVE!!

1) BAC will not be the same, although the estimated time is somethin' like "1 drink an hr" is safe, it changes. The more you drink, the more your liver builds enzymes ready for the alcohol, and that's how it works. Unless you're Asian, you get the asian glow (enzymes not present, alcohol doesn't begin breaking down)
2) How drunk you feel will always change, one time you can be a drunkard, the next not, on the same stuff. Or maybe you mixed colors and you're twisted more than usual on the same amount. The 0.08 BAC is a joke just another way to get a DUI money making charge on you.
If you're going to drink, just dont drive period.

Depending on your weight and tolerance: you may feel nothing, you may feel buzzed.
I had a buddy in school who was 6'5 and 240 lbs who drank every night. He went out to a bar and had 4 drinks in the span of 2 hours, got pulled over out front of the bar and blew exactly 0.08% and he said he felt nothing.
Safest bet if to get a designated and plan not to drive.
If you must, like most charts say, 1 hour per drink. That link above is a good resource, but don't trust that to be the golden rule.
Just be happy you live in the bay with a bunch of good public transit, and use it.

All depends on the person. I have a stomach condition so I rarely drink, haven't gotten drunk in a couple months at least. Had a couple beers with my buddy recently about 3 glasses from a pitcher of hi qual beer over about 30 mins. I blew a .03. weight 170 5"10
my old roomate who was fat sorta, hella outta shape one time drank a bottle of henesey w 1 other person and blew a .08 later that night, but said he felt waisted at the time. I of course wasn't with the retard.

yeah drink two beers, and you feel like, "Whoa, this beer is really ****ing tasty!!! Does anyone want to talk to me? I have lots of good stories!!!!"
drink three or more and your like "Goddam I don't feel nearly as good as after those past two....maybe I need to drink some more....and soon enough you wake up next to shamu with peanut butter all over your body."
