What do you regret most about your college days?
Being a good student that I am , I was sitting in the library writing my essay and a random question came to my head.
Is there anything you guys regret about your college days?
any or moments?

Not speaking my mind enough in my World Religions classes. I let a lot of comments and ignorant rants go without saying anything and I wish now that I would have said something or challenged their way of thinking.
I guess I didnt want to rock the boat and risk my major

Studying abroad. Definitely that. Otherwise, college was awesome. I would have stayed longer if it wasn't for the fact that housing in L.A. is expensive as hell. I believe you're at UCSD, so I'd definitely learn to surf and go to the beach more.

I'm an Econ and Music double major trying to get out in 3 years. Everybody keeps telling me to enjoy college but I'm not sure I understand their point of view. I wana get out into the real world and get a job already.
Currently taking 20+ units every quarter =p
can anybody give some wise input from the other pair of shoes?

Don't rush getting out of college (unless you're not having fun there), it doesn't get better afterward, there's a bit of novelty to be had as a broke college kid which is hard to replace with whatever financial/career ambitions you may currently have.
Ps. You hang the noose in Geisel?

I did my internship after I was essentially done with college. If I were to do it over again I'd do as many relevant internships as I could. Who you know, the "good" impressions you make, and real world experience, are huge assets in getting jobs afterwards. On the other hand, if you have a bad relation with someone during the internship, it could also hurt you.
Luckily it worked out for me. Whenever I go back to do alumni SJSU presentations I encourage the students to make sure they get there internships covered.

This might sound bad, but I wish I partied more, and made more time for friends. Sure I got my dream job, but if you're so focused on school thinking when you hit the work force it will be weekend trips to Vegas and going out with hot interns for drinks, you are way wrong.
but then again, I guess the grass is always greener on the other side.
