both guns are Sigs 9mm and a 40 S&W.
Do you take it out when you get home? If not someone may break into your car and then shoot you with your own gun.

I too have a s&w 40. I keep it loaded. In a custom holster on my bed. I like that is has no safety(other than the trigger), it's eaiser to shoot if i don't have to worry about a safety.

Nothing in the trunk normally though.

i hope the mags in your vehicle ISNT loaded.

while NO WHERE does it say in the kaifornia code, that constitutes a loaded mag as bad, there is a line that says the magazine is considered part of a firearm.

and since the magazine is loaded, SOME wacky judge out there can read the law that gun = magazine. therefore, loaded mag = loaded gun. and that is a crime.

go find the book HOW TO OWN A GUN IN KALIFORNIA AND STAY OUT OF JAIL.

this guy goes through common sense gun laws and explains in very easy to understand terms.

dont forget to keep the firearm in LOCKED, harderned CONTAINER!

you know what's funny, if you keep a firearm in PLAIN VIEW, say like on top of a passenger seat (WHILE UNLOADED) and not covered by anything, that is not a CRIME!

but as soon as you CONCEAL it, that is crossing a line.

granted you can get a lot of curious looks and you may get a bunch of cops drawing their service weapon on you... but still that is not a crime.

How can your handgun not have a safety? Looking at the picture, isn't the button closest to the end of the barrel the on/off safety? Or is that not considered the safety mechanism?

in trunk:
plastic to line wagon trunk, two screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, wooden blackjack, flashlight, cargo net, jacking/spare material, emergency flare. conveniently all in the hidden compartment.
