What car to get younger brother?
If you guys have ventured into NorCal classifieds recently, you will notice that I'm selling a crapload of my high-ticket items. I'm trying to gather enough money to buy my newly licensed little bro a car. I need something safe, reliable, "cool" to a high schooler, and cheap to own. I would like to spend around $3k or so, but if its the right car, I could probably push around $4k. Here are a few cars that are in the runnings right now - I'm open to suggestions/comments:
94+ Acura Integra LS/GS (or GSR if I can find one cheap enough)
92+ Civic EX/Si
94+ Accord EX (V6 if the price is right)
Thanks for the help!

Car Info: Subaru?
if hes into cars chances are he'll appreciate these:
-93 gsr (more unique than a 94, id easily take this over any year GS/LS. slap on some yellow fogs, rota mugen replicas, lower it, and your almost set!)
-240sx (just hope that he doesnt jump onto drift bandwagon unless he actually knows what hes doing)
-miata (if hes willing to look beyond its girly-ness and see it as a handling machine)

The 240 was one of my initial choices, but I didn't want him to get RWD as his first car because he's not a great driver yet. He actually really likes the Miata's, but a two seater is not practical for him + the RWD. The 93 GSR's were awesome cars, but every one I've seen for sale, goes for more than the 94-95 GSR's (because of the rareness probably). Thanks for the suggestions & keep them coming

Steer clear of V6 accords unless its a gen 6 or above(98+). The 5th gen(95-97) V6 accords are actually slower than the I4 counterparts of the same year. They are smoother, but cost more to maintain and the I4 manual version the 5th gen accord is faster.

Stick with the civic
as cool as the gsr would be for a first car, the last thing you need to give a new driver is a car that is somewhat "fast"
You are asking for trouble giving a young driver something they can't handle and not being very responsible, imo.
