I managed the one 1.73 60' by easing it out but as soon as I hit 2nd gear the tires gave up and wouldn't hold 2nd or 3rd so I abandoned the run. People saw me just spinning bouncing off the limiter in 3rd going nowhere. I couldn't manage better than a 2.0 60' the rest of the night, trying to feather the throttle in 1st and 2nd to try to keep traction.
The car didn't have issues in 4th until the very end of the night when temps really started to drop. More power, less traction, and no track prep all night resulted in 4th gear getting squirly. Not too sure why that's so tough to believe, but it's ok... I was the one in the car .
BTW, we were not trying to set any records or make any claims, so I'm not sure why certain people are taking so much offense to this. We just decided to go have some fun and get some data on a fast car we've been working on. We accomplished that and now we know where to go from here. No excuses at all, just a rundown of the night.
Thanks
-- Ed

Here are a couple examples: (all stock turbo)
Ran a 11.4@120 mph, street tires, full weight
404 whp / 403 wtq:
400 whp / 384 wtq:
395whp / 400 wtq:
400 whp / 368 wtq:
Now you have seen them from a Mustang.
Anyway, good luck Ed on wringing what you can out of that car.

dont listen to these assclowns complaining about how their "friends" car does so much better.theres always a couple people that want to complain because when it comes down to it they always come up short.

My only issue was that I did not see why or how it could possibly be spinning the tires in 4th, thats all... Sure its making decent power, but I have driven 600+hp(on GST's mustang dyno) awd cars that didnt break 3rd loose let alone 4th so it just didnt add up to me... Now with Ed saying its aligned for the track it makes perfectly good sense now... I have been there and seen it first hand.. My car made 404/403 last year and would spin 285 wide ADO7's in third... BUT that was because I was running -3.5deg of camber up front and -1.6 in the rear... My car now makes a lot more power then that and has less traction issues on 255 wide all season tires.
