Because it falls under the legal RFG classification its legal to sell. However that said this is why every time I go to nevada I fill up 5-10 jerry cans with 93.

Yeah this WOULD have affected me, as I've run Sunoco 104oct only in the STi because the build is designed specifically for race fuel. I am switching to E85 in about 2 weeks, and consequently upgrading the fuel system further. Thank goodness for my timing with the E85 switch lol. It's oh-so-easy to identify the sweet smell of 104+oct race fuel from a catless 3.5" dumptube.

Don't High Performance Cars that REQUIRE Premium Grade Fuel actually run BETTER and CLEANER when using a Higher Octane that the car was originally designed to be used on? It sure seems like the Lower Octane Premium causes a Decrease in Efficiency, by Retarding Timing causing Lower Performance and Worse Gas Mileage. That seems like it is completely counter to what the "Goal" of CARB actually is supposed to be.

It would make more sense to me to raise the Octane Rating back to 93 and make Premium Octane the standard Premium Rating across the entire U.S. that way we spend less in refining several different Octane "Grades" and spend less money across the entire U.S. as the fuel from any location can support another no matter what kind of "Accident", "Hazard" "Problem" or whatever arises.

Quite Honestly, the lowering of the Octane Rating to 91 from 93 seems quite similar to having the Diamond Lane (Carpool Lane). Probably a good idea at some point, but it has lived past where it is needed. Seriously, how much easier would traffic flow if you had the option of taking 4 lanes instead of 3 lanes during heavy traffic times? How much of a difference has having a Carpool Lane really made in helping to Decrease the amount of pollution caused by cars?

There's like 20 stations in a 25 mile radius around my house.

10 in a 15 mile radius.

How come the state with coolest, most diverse geological terrain has to be inhabited with stupid laws and people?

Oregon sounds better and better everyday.

Not for much longer, Portland will see to that. Just look at CA's situation, 3 cities lay the law for the entire state. Everyone else just gets reamed by their stupidity.

You have to look elsewhere for freedom these days, both coasts are basically doomed to stupid laws drafted by stupid people and approved by the stupidest people of them all.

I want to vote for senators that will end up in the pockets of MPAA, RIAA, and special interests.
And that when congress tries to pass a really whacked out medical reform bill will just roll over and vote for it, while several other state senators fight to get special exceptions for their states from some of the stupid parts of the bill that don't make sense (and cost lotsa money).

Oh, look, I can do that too!
