Weird Noise in Reverse with Clutch Disengaged

Posted this over @ Nabisco in the tranny/drivetrain section, but didn't get any responses. Car is a 2003 WRX Wagon with 48K miles. Here's the dealio:

I have a long single car driveway that is tricky to back out of, so I will typically engage the clutch to get the car moving and then disengage the clutch and let the car coast to keep the speed down so I don't hit anything.

I've noticed over the last few months that there is a weird rotating sound when I do this. I only notice it in reverse and only when the clutch is disengaged. I checked under the car and all of the CV/Universal joints looked fine and nothing seems to be leaking from the tranny or rear diff. I'm thinking it might be my clutch since it only appears when the clutch is disengaged which would likely rule out the rest of the drivetrain.

Car has been well maintained including 30K service. Any thoughts?

TIA,

Jimbo

Not to pick on you, but this is a visual medium and you're asking about a sound.
Can you record the sound and post it?
