How much horsepower is the car making? the second run is indicative of around 300whp the rest a little lower. Albeit this does not give into any concideration the wind factor which obviously plays it's part.

Mike
Well I am still running a GST motor. And we all know the motor still has problems. (poor leakdown in #1 after being built) So I guess I could just blame that.

But I'm thinking because I was there. It was a few other things.
Like my driving and my tune not tuned for this and my driving again. Also the fact that this is the 1st time ever I have run this car in the 1/4 mile. I also know a few local i-club memebers that have ridin in my car in the twisties that can tell you my car is not made a 1/4 mile at a time.
My AM was logged at .81 the car was pulling timing -4 and then adding +4timing. So I was not at full power as the am was not at 1 I also had the tuner do a very soft tune knowing that the engine has problems.

I also on the 1st run I didnt know the tree and I hit boost cut in 1st launching the car and not shifting fast enough. power fell on its face. then miss-shifted into 5th power again fell onto its face.

2nd run it would bog between shifts, Started logging. lots o wheel spin. Tire PSI @ 42

3rd run Dropped tire psi to 25, bogged the start and each shift sucked. I ran through the traps in top of 4th gear.

So I figure its more me then the car. There are some big factors with the car. But once I learn the car in the 1/4 I am sure its a 12 second car..

Oh god, I almost forgot about that...

Not only will there be ignorant ricers doing that, but be prepared for smack talk from people who don't even have cars there to race...

"Oh, my cousins SRT-4 would SMOKE this little Subaru", etc, etc.

I always hated going to the drag strip and always loved going to a track day... No one ever talks smack at a track day.

Nice, that accord had plastic hub caps for weight savings. Weight savings in the wheels makes a HUUUUUUGE difference!

Damn, your subie looks brilliant! There's nothing I don't like, it's really hot!

Had alot of fun last night. Car ran great and was very consistant. Im gonna call BS on the 02 running low 13's on a stage two.

I was cutting 1.90 60' times all night launching at 3200-3500 rpm and could only best a 14.44 and im on a stage 2 plus a little.

There was another 05 there older guy but he was on a vf 34 and stage 2 and he was running 13.5's so yea.

I was very happy with my car because I have not even begun to make it fast and it ran really strong. Really neat launchng an AWD car.

My E.T.'s are indicitive of my power numbers 217hp / 267 ft lbs but thoe numbers are going to get larger and my e.t.'s are going to get smaller. YAY.

Also first time really opening it up through 4 gears and my tune was great no flat spots or dead space kinda acts exactly like my power curve..

Thanks again Mike and the guys at GST.

For the record there was an 06 WRX with good 60' times running a 15.5 so considering im on the stock turbo as well and a full second faster im deffinately not dissapointed. Just curious about all these other "stock cars" posting up these amazing numbers. At least I know im faster than a 370z "14.7, and an infinity G35 14.6........

Mike. I<3Subie it was good meeting you and I like your car. Hopefully I will see you around more.
