Websense (Web filtering/monitoring software)
So apparently, as of today my company is starting to use Websense to monitor/filter web traffic.
i-Club is on their "hit list" so I'm only allotted 1 hr of usage on i-Club per day...
I haven't run across any other sites that are blocked for usage...
Should I use a free proxy to go around this "time restriction"?

honestly your best bet is to totaly bypass your work for websurfing. Set up a ssh tunnel or ipsec tunnel using openvpn or some other vpn software. That way they wont know what you are doing, just that there is a bunch of mystery traffic coming from your ip to some server on the internet. Not only will it make any competent it guy guh "que pasa?" it will prob **** them off that you know more then they do.
Other then that your proxies are probably allready black listed, and if not the first time they run a report and see the useage of the proxies they will kill them and prob have you sit down with your manager for a little talkie. I would just lay low for the next month or two... Let other people get pissed off about not being able to go to their sites.
What most likely happened was they installed it a while ago and have been monitoring useage patterns. Then they locked down a few sites cause of abuse.
So good luck with that, i would take the it guys out to lunch if i was you.

to be honest it will prob get you in trouble, if you work at a half decentg company they should have policies in place to deal with someone doing something like this (hint the word termination would normaly been seen in such a policy)
just words of advice.. dont surft iclub at work...not worth it ne more

Yeah it just depends on what the company has the lockdown on. Mine has Sports, Games, Music/Radio, **** all filtered out. I think I can hit up i-Club if I felt like it.
