Exactly, and I forgot that most of the SWRT drivers are Asian!
That's like saying to Zoeb, your not even German enough to drive a BMW!
I'm gonna be 35 (eek) going on 25 this year, and I love my Scooby. When I start to have kids we'll have the wife get the Outback. I don't have loads of money, esp. with a mortgage and my WRX is the best bang for the buck! Other cars I would consider if I had a little more cash flow would be the STI or EVO, just don't want $400+ payments a month for 5 years. I wanna get out of any extraneous debts before babies take over my world!

I'm 23 and have been told I am too old drive a wagon. Or, "aren't you a little big to be driving miata?"and "miatas are girlie cars." On the flip side of that, my mom drives a modded RX-8 (manual) and she is 56. I think lots of people would say she is too old for it. Her car is louder than mine. As had been said countless times already in this thread, who cares what other people think? Your own happiness is paramount.

People always tell me my modded 02 WRX is a high school kid's car. Boy would I have loved to been able to afford a WRX in high school! The fact that it is yellow doesn't help either

I think our cars are judged by the exterior, that is, they look like what the "street racer" young juveniles would drive. This is specially thrown out to the STi with the huge spoiler (which I think is cool).

32 here and don't look it, which is probably another reason I haven't had this situation come up.
I'm getting ready to go back to Japan, where I will most likely be driving a Nissan Silvia or a 180SX...cheap, reliable, decent power and most importantly FUN!

I have been told that I need to represent the Navy in a better way than having a loud fast sports car. This was told to me by a guy with a V6 mustang.

There are no cheap thrill cars coming out in Japan anymore since the demise of the S15 Silvia. The S15 had a base price (for the Spec-R, SR20DET, 6speed) of around $25,000.
They started selling in 1999 and I believe were killed of by the French guy in 2002. The used prices are still up in the $25,000 price range for a large majority of the S15's I've e-looked at. And they have considerable mileage on them.
Japanese used car market has definately changed since 2003. I'll check the junkyards before I commit to buying anything from a lot. My last 2 cars were excellent and bought from a junkyard. Basically good enough to have been on a used car lot.

or are you including their co-drivers, Phil Mills and Glean Macneall? (how Anglo can you be?)
Two member of the team are Asian, but Shigeo Sugaya and Toshiya Azuma are factory liaisons for engineering and marketing respectively.
