Hey Roo - thanks for the great drive. It was the first fun driving I've done in months. Sorry about that ticket -- that was bogus. That CHP must have been having a really bad day.

Also, mrstofu and I loved the crabs. We fed 6 people with those 4 gigantic crabs!

Good to hear. Of all the things I could get a ticket for, this was probably the absolute LEAST likely thing. It wasn't speeding, so a V1 wouldn't have done a thing...
My left edge of the tire was hitting the reflectors on the double solid yellow line in a narrow spot in the road...

...and he wrote me up for CROSSING the double yellow line. I was traveling at 5 UNDER the speed limit on that road...

sorry to hear that roo, chp officers are being total *******s lately, i've seen so many people get pulled over in the last few weeks, it makes me almost not want to drive my car if their giving people tickets for minor things like that.

Thats what happened to me in front of my high schoo.l i had to take a wide right turn going like 5mph and my tire nicked the double yellow. Instead of giving me a ticket he called my parents and told them i was speeding and went over the double yellow!!!

Oh and on my way up to meet Roo, I saw a beautifully restored Aston Martin Volante with rally lights (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aston_M...age_%281977%29). No heat seeking missiles on this one, though

Bump

Does anyone going on this drive have D-spec struts? If so what settings do you use? I’m still playing around with it.

In the event of rain, I'll still be going. Only just slower.
