My plan of action is based off of what I can get, LMAO!!! If you are going to need the stuff later, then dont offer it up for sale 
But what I usually do is trade the aftermarket part for the stock part as part of the deal when I sell aftermarket stuff...

i've got an up-pipe, and some stock intercooler hoses laying arround in my garage...i've also got a td04 sitting there that i'm supposed to ship back to deadbolt as a core exchange.

Do you need the uppipe? I could use that definatly. I dont know if the intercooler hoses will be compatible with the water-air legacy turbo intercooler though...
I dont want to mess with your core exhange though Unless its not a requirement or something of that deal...

i have no real need for the up-pipe -- though it is a stock WRX up-pipe. i paid for the core exchange up front, so i only get a refund if i send it in. make me a better offer than they do, and it's yours.

But ya, I could use a WRX uppipe, I pretty much just need one to hack up to modify to work with the N/A style headers.

oh yeah, i've also got a couple of leftover gaskets if you need them too. i think i've got a header to exhaust manifold that's un-used, and maybe one other.

As for the engine exploding, I dont really care, its not like a replacment is expensive
(I think $400 at the recycler, thats without the S-squared discount 
)Muppet: I guess I could use gaskets too, ive been switching between two ancient sets when swapping my Borlas and stock headers back and forth (they are looking rather carbonated, as it burnt!

Before you go after the WRX stock turbo, it's probably a bit large for your application.
You're not going to put 15 pounds into the EJ18, more like the 5-9 range. The WRX turbo will do it, but think about the flow situation, you're putting a turbo designed for putting 250 HP to a 2 liter, and putting that on a 1.8 will result in more lag than you probably want.
The 300ZX turbo is probably a better fit, it seems to hold about 8-10psi to redline (7000RPM) on the 1.5 liters, and from some quick looking online, looks pretty good up to 14psi on that 1.5 liters with a nice taper to redline. This should mean that on 1.8 it will be a good fit for your boost range, certainly a better fit than the WRX turbo.
I'm not saying the WRX turbo won't work, it's just that with your compression ratio, and a head sealing solution not made to hold high boost, you're probably not going to push enough air through the engine, you'll end up with more lag and more top end than your engine can probably handle (a bad thing, because you're tempted to push the limits and ... boom!)
What is the redline on the 1.8, like 6000? If so that's very near the same amount of air as the 1.5 of the 300zx at 7000 RPM, assuming VEs are similar.
