Car Info: .
oh, another reason it's not good for search and rescue is because it's a focused spotlight beam and doesn't spread out very well

But yeah, like he said, get one before the price goes up!

Glen, I'm so happy that you're happy with the light! I know its a little pricey, but you get what you pay for! Have you tried focusing the beam onto your arm from like a foot away? When people get drunk and pass out at parties we bust out the borealis... Muhahhahah! we don't harm anyone, just inflict a little temporary pain on them.

I walk my dogs in the pitch black in the country next to my house...the borealis lights up the night for me, and doubles as a heafty hitting tool incase I meet some unsavoury types.

The fact that I can recharge the batteries in just a few hours and get an hours use is pretty cool, it will save me a fortune in batteries, but the best bit is definately giving people perfectly circular sunburn in 20 seconds and being able to start fires.

I showed it to my neighbor who's a Firefighter captain and he ordered one straight away. For law enforcement etc.. you can get a rippled reflector so the light has a wider spread pattern.
