If I would have wrecked my car as bad as that dude did... I wouldn't care who the hell took pictures of it... Hell, I wouldn't even care if it was in the newspaper. It was my mistake, or accident, and it's over. I'm alive, and so are others... the car however, isn't.

Anyway, the only reason I stoped is because I thought it might of been one of my friends... After coming up to the owner and saying "Is this your car?" and having him ignore me and walk by as if I didnt exist... I took some pics. 3 pics with a camera phone on my way out of there. Big deal, right?

duude, at the expense of someone else's loss, you want to show BAIC what not to do? Plus, he's on the boards, so try not to subject him to this. not cool.

Booh hoo... I guess I can delete the thread... but damn, I don't want it to happen again.

If it were me, I'd be a man and stand up to it... whats the big deal? It's these type of mistakes that are making our insurence rates go up!!! Which isn't very cool... so I counter your "uncool" with a stronger "uncool"

I'm gonna side with you on this one, Dan. This has happened to MANY of the people on this board, so there is nothing to be ashamed of here. He should just learn from his mistake, and hope that others can as well.

Accidents happen to ALL people.

Think about if you just ruined your $20,000 ride, would you be in the mood to have some guy taking pictures of the situation?

The situation was way over. The tow truck was taking his car away and I snapped some pics right before he did. My mom had driven by earlier in the evening and saw it right after it happened. Thats what got me worried and thats why I went down there to see if it was one of my friends.

Funny, my mom knew it had modified headlights. lol

ehehe, i have to remember that.

i don't think i would have liked someone taking pics of my car after i got into a huge crash like that, but its public property.

thanks for the pics though, reminds me to be calm when driving and not test myself.

no, but the situation is that if it is public, then there is nothing ILLEGAL about taking pixs.

you have no right to privacy.

is it news? i guess you can consider that, especially in a forum like this.

news organizations have a set of hard rules they must follow. and some soft ones that's like an agreement between them.

does it suck the dude crashed his car? hell ya.

but there is nothing he can LEGALLy do to stop someone from taking pixs and PUTTING THEM up on a publicly accessible source.
