"Walmart Prices"

So I thought Walmart had like the best prices ever and saved people so much money during the holidays?

Xbox 360 Arcade:

Walmart: $199.92

Best Buy: $199.99

Walmart pisses me off.

to be honest, being a manager in retail for a while, and seeing the purchase side of it.

things like iPOD, XBOX, Wii, PS3, the manufacturer sets a price for what they want those products sold for. Especially during a holiday season

you see more deals at places like walmart and target on appareal, baby items, normal household goods, even a lot of sports goods.

big electronics are gonan be pretty comparable unless one place has a great sale over another.

^ True, but Walmart often sets their own prices, they "negotiate" with the manufacturer, and if they are unwilling to lower their price, Walmart won't carry their product.

yeah but with a product like XBOX, microsoft could hold out on walmart then becuase walmart woudl have to buckle or they would lose a ton of money. other products i would say true, but not hot ticket items like gaming consoles. walmart would be stupid not to carry that product.

yeah, you are probably right. I hate walmart, but still shop there on occasion. Life is full of mysteries I suppose.

I used to buy 250 round "Mega Packs" of ammo there for the range. Was a good deal. Now they don't carry them anymore around here, so I have little use for Walmart

Walmart is depressing right when you walk through the front doors of that place. Sucks the soul right out of you.

Especially when I travel to these small towns in the mid-west and south who's downtown businesses and family companies have been all shutdown because of a super Walmart.

Yeah I stopped going to Walmart awhile back. Seemed like every electronic device I bought there was crap and broke within a week. But I do remember seeing prices like that where you can save .05 with Walmart. Atleast they stick to their motto of "the lowest prices" lol.

in alameda county walmart made a deal where they said they wont sell ammo (and guns, in the entire kalif) so they are allowed to open stores in oakland...
