Yeah, I'm 3-0 for fighting tickets, but not even I would win against a 85 in a 65 Lidar tix...

whoa relax guys. I honestly did post up all the details in my original post!

ticket assasin FTW!
here is the website of ticket assassin

http://www.ticketassassin.com/shareware.html

that site gives all the details

the steps I took were

1) got a ticket
2) went to ticket assassin website, paid $25 to be a paid member
3) stopped by the court to get the trial by written declaration forms and paid bail
4) got legalese from ticket assassin paid member section to include in my written declaration
5) mail the written declaration

I used trial by written declaration, and perhaps the officer didn't respond, or perhaps it was an incomplete response. either way, i figure it was better than paying up immediately and going to traffic school since trial by written declaration does not take away your right to traffic school if you are eligible

I'm speculating here but i think there were other factors that might have helped me that are specific to my situation
1) i haven't gotten a moving violation in over 3yrs and no accidents ever
2) i was driving in the 2nd lane (and it was documented in the ticket)
3) there were other vehicles nearby at the time of the stop, (ie it wasn't the only car in the middle of a deserted road)

I think with ticket assassin you have to promise not to do stuff like that.

yea i'm pretty sure one of the things i agreed to when i became a paid member is not to distribute the declaration sorry

but i didn't do anything special other than follow the paid member instructions. if anyone else was to pay $25 and follow the directions they would have a very similar declaration to the one that i used

i hate to sound like a plug for that website, but it really did work for me.. and i wanted to post up on here to share that i used the site and it did work, and i thought it was a good use of my $25

it was a good thing i didn't listen to the "you got to pay to play, pay up" advice i got on my original thread asking for help

I love to sound like a plug for that website. Anything that gives us a little help in the BS "us vs them" game that is driving a car is TOPS to me.

Until I experience or hear of an Officer helping someone in need, I will continue to say that cops suck, and that's sad.
