I've had Pirelli PZero Nero M+S, Bridgestone RE960AS, and Toyo Proxes 4.
Pirellis were great, I think my favorite All season to date in terms of gripping. Definitely not the best daily, since it tramlines a little and gets progressively worse as the tire wears. Also, I got really bad wear on it, I had excessive wear on the inner tire on all 4. I had my alignment done with toe always at 0, yet it still wore pretty bad. This problem never showed up on my other sets of tires. Ride was fine with them, road noise was a minimum, but these suckers loved to squeal in the turns even though there was still loads of grip left. Absolutely love these in the rain, tons of confidence driving in these. Never took them to the snow, so can't comment on them.
Bridgestones scared the crap out of me the first few hundred miles. I think it had some preliminary rubber to burn off because they wouldn't grip at all, barely avoided some accidents when people cut me off and they didn't grip right away. However, after that, they were okay. Not as grippy as the Pirellis, but very little to no tramlining and wore much better than my Pirellis. Ride was fine with them and road noise was fine. Good in the rain, no problems, just not as confidence inspiring as the Pirellis. Never took them to snow, so can't comment on them.
Toyo proxes 4 are terrible in terms of grip. They're quite squishy on the sidewall too. Had to get used to the significant reduced grip around corners between these and the previous 2 sets of tires. Really regret buying these tires.
These are all based on 225/50/16 tires, which are slightly different than the stock 205/55/16 tires. I have the RS 6-spoke wheels on my WRX, so the tires are not stretched.
