dammit Ed, I cant find it. Prolly because "VW" is to small a word to do a search for. I think Wiggles posted it here back in 04 or 05 of a VW meet where old GTIs/Jettas had the whole 'poked out' look with tires so narrow they barely sealed on the rim and camber to match. Everyone here unanimously laughed and jeered at those ghetto Vdub guys.
Last Herra meet I went to put the Vdub thread from 4 years ago to shame
Look SW, Im not saying EVERYONE there would go that far, but how many peeps from Herra thought this was hot??
you think that looks good? Is it just because that Vdub in the first pics was a total beater on a phone cam? if it was a different car that looked better with better pics but the same camber/stance?? Im just sayin bud, just sayin...

*Sobs* why would someone do that to a 1st gen GTI
I mean ok, look ive owned some seriously slammed cars in my day. I ran a 85 Nissan truck on juice(that is hydrolics for you non lowrider folks), with a frame tuck that could drag the frame when I dumped it. Most my VW's (14 bugs, 4 squarebacks, 2 fastbacks, 1 notchback, and 3 bus) were all slammed...
But for the love of science, we lowered them right. Shortened beams/axles/arms, proper spindles, camber adjustment to tuck in..
