Lyle does great work, but Im guessing if hes not looking to spend the money for a respray, hes also not looking for a $4000 professional vinyl wrap.

lol serious. Just like vinyl it can be peeled off and doesn't effect the paint. I just picked up a car with ****ty paint , rock chips etc and this would be easier than vinyl.

im very familiar with the dip'. it got pretty popular on gmfullsizeforums when i had my seirra. i did my grill shell and rear bumper over chrome. also had a is250 after i sold the truck and dip'd the rims and badges on that. also did friends cars and other ransom stuff. plastidip fades and looks like **** after 4-5 weeks and will peel on the edges after awhile. and when you take it off, if you didnt put down at least 5 coats, its going to be hell. ask me how i know. to those thinking about plastidipping thier cars, i strongly suggest you dont.

how much vinyl do we need to wrap our cars? i had a feeling 40x5 wouldnt cut it.

Oh wow i didnt know it was that bad. I've watched videos on youtube of companies that plastidip peoples cars and it seemed pretty legit. I guess i will have to rethink this now. BTW nice truck!
