I know, i live in dublin and drive all the way to Sunnyvale/Santa Clara/San Jose for the Pho I like. The one in downtown Pleasanton is not that great. There is one downtown, but they are not clean. Once I saw them drop the chop stix on the floor, picked them up and put them back on the table. i hate to see what the hell they do in the kitchen.

OK, here is what happened. I went to this address and found a donut shop and there was no vietname pho shop. so i asked the UPS guy who happened to be vientamese guy and he told that there was no such thing here. he told me to go all the way up until i hit Alcosta.

I found a new place there and here is my review:

1. place is very clean
2. food is very good
3. the lady that works there, forget about it. zero personality. she immediately asked me if i was ready to order and would not stand infront of me where i can see her. she delivers the food and then when i am done eating i ask for the check. she brings the check and i giver her my credit card. she takes it and comes back and drops it on the table. no thank you or any communication. i pay and leave.

so i don't get it when people open up restaurants and have ZERO personality. what's up with that. the only question or communication you hear them say is "are you ready to order" that's it... nothing after that ever.

even though food is great, service needs to be great as well, otherwise people won't go back.

my favorite pho/vientamese place is where i used to live in San Bruno up the hilll near 280. i love that place and the service is awesome. even i haven't gone there in a year, once i walk into the place they greet me and remember me. very nice folks.

sorry if i offended anyone. i love food and love to be a critic of service since i am in the service business.

lol sounds like the every vientamese place i've been to.... did she seem like an immigrant? if she was then understand that thats the way they are... when the last of my family came over the the US they were really rude in the eyes of american society.
