Just came back from there today. Got no kind of sleep at all. you can pretty much walk up and down the strip and find lots of things to do.

A few suggestions would be Rain since your already in the Palms. There's also the Rum Jungle and House of Blues in Mandalay Bay and Coyote Ugly in New York New York. You can also hit up Rio since its on the way to the strip.

You can also check out the Forum shops in Ceasar's, watch the water show at night in front of the Bellagio, and take the gf to the Venetian for that boat ride.

On a related note...does anyone know where to get everclear in vegas? we looked around but couldn't find any.

If you like cars then check out the car museum at Imperial Palace. If your a Star Trek guy then check out Star Trek Expeirence at the Hilton. Your GF will love the shops at Ceasers and at the Aliddin. There are hundreds of great places to eat, Gallaghers in NY NY is a favorite of my wife and I. Know matter where you go you will have fun. And I second the idea of forgoing the damn damn tour. It takes a ton of time and to really see all the casinos you will need at least a week. Perhaps we can plan a I-CLUB run to the SEMA show in November???????? That would be a blast.

Have Fun

Guide To Vegas

I was just there in June. If you're the clubbing type, I suggest BABY'S @ HARD ROCK, RA AT LUXOR, GHOST BAR/RAIN @ PALMS, 54 @ MGM GRAND.
If you are into shopping, i suggest FASHION SHOW ON THE STRIP, FORUM SHOPS AT CEASARS (THE ARE OPEN, BUT RENOVATING), BELZ FACTORY STORES, GALLERIA AT SUNSET MALL (DONT GO TO BOULEVARD OR MEADOWS MALL..BOTH SUCK).
I've been to Vegas numerous times, and this last trip finally made it over to Hoover dam. If this is your 1-3 time going to Vegas, I dont suggest going to Hoover dam. But, if you are staying in Vegas for more than a week, and/or you've been to Vegas numerous times, then you should visit Hoover Dam at least 1 time.
If you are into gentlemens clubs, I suggest the RHINO CLUB and CRAZY HORSE.
If you just want to see sights, I suggest FREMONT ST LIGHT SHOW, BELLAGIO'S WATER DANCING, MANDALAY BAYS POOL, MANDALAY BAYS AQUARIUM, SMALL SHOW AT CEASARS FORUM SHOPS, VENETIAN GONDOLA RIDE.
If you want to watch shows, I suggest SIEGFRIED & ROY, BLUE MAN GROUP, DANNY GANS, WAYNE BRADY.
If you are planning to go out onto the strip at night, walking is the best way. There is too much road traffic, both on the strip, and the surrounding streets. Learn the backroads off the strip. Koval Ln (which is behind MGM GRAND), is probably the best off-the-strip road. It will take you from behind MGM GRAND, all the way down to the other end of the strip at SAHARA ave. Its usually a lot quicker than puddling around on the strip.

thanks you guys for the replies. We'll probably check out ghost bar - my gf wants to hit some of the clubs for sure. We will check out the shows in front of the hotels - walk the strip. Hopefully I can win some money at Black Jack..maybe enough to pay to fix my car Thanks.
