Vegas in t- 7 Days
Alright..I'm going to Vegas next week on Monday (8/11) and was hoping some of you guys who've been there a few times could give me some cool ideas for stuff to do.
I'll be playing some black jack, we're staying at the palms. One day we're going to Hoover dam. What else would you recommend?
Thanks!

Been there once... with a friend of mine who had too much money. I left there with the same amount of money in my pocket as when I entered, my friend however left aproximately 7,000 dollars lighter between him and myself. The sun was up when we left, and we had a key to the backdoor. I'm not allowed to talk about anything else about that night.

We're road tripping the WRX out there. We were going to fly, but the best deal I could find was almost $400 for both of us (southwest). That $400 can be better spent on alcohol
You driving also, or flying?

okay, you MUST stay at the mandalay bay. the reason for this lies in the daytime activities as you can find fun things to do anywhere in vegas.
once you're done gambling and partying at about 8AM, you'll want to go to your room and grab your boardshorts and your room key. that's all you'll need. go down to the pool. you will find yourself walking into an island paradise and within minutes you will think you're in some unreal jungle island beach. there is a real sand beach, a gigantic wave pool (way bigger than olympic size), tons of hot chicks, a lazy river, private cabanas, palm trees and foliage abound, waitresses everywhere waiting to bring you bloody maries, pina coladas, margaritas, shots of jose, and most important of all SUNSCREEN.
you can sleep on the cots on the beach, grab some drinks, make out with some girls, play in the waves, take a nap, and repeat 3 to 4 times. you will then be ready to put on your party clothes and go party some more.
mmmm.... vegas..... i freaking love that place.
have fun and be sure to let us know how your adventures in sin city turn out.

cool. We don't have any real plans, we're just cruising out there. We are trying to get there by around 3 if we can..just in time for check in and then start partying.

it takes a good 8 hours (including stops for gas and food) to get out there, and thats with my cruse control set at 75-80, so if you have a led foot, should be a little quicker.

And if you have ever had the jones to play poker in a casino check out one of the poker rooms. The Mirage and Bellagio are the best ones, but most of the others are cool too. The Excalibur seems to have the highest number of tourists (i.e. loose players who are there as much for the fun as for the prospect of huge winning).
