don't suppose we could use this excuse when being caught catless?

srsly though, sucks. thieves are getting more creative now a days. soon they are gonna start selling mcgard-style exhaust locks.

i still dont see how much they can recycle the cats for. i know a buddy of mine got his 4runner jacked too. i know its easier to get to on the 4runners, but are they worth more or something? because theyre old cars and the stuff inside is probably no good anyways.

when i swapped out my stock cats for hi flow car sound units on my tacoma i got 185$ each for the used cats.theres SOO much platinum in lexas/toyota cats.plus they are the easiest to remove on 89-94 4runners and trucks.its 4 bolts.it took me less than 5 min to bolt the new one on.
total for cats stolen in vacaville last nite is 9.
the nite before dixon was hit so it seems they are moving west across the county.
ill be hunting in fairfield tonite

If they steal the cat from your suby just take the insurance money and buy a nice DP

This happened in Manteca and they were stealing enough cats for the local muffler shops to offer free spot welds on your flanges to keep the thieves away.
