I like to take my car offroad a lot, well as much as possible. I take a lot of trips down to Baja during school in southern california and the roads are pretty much nonexistent in some places. With solid endlinks, the suspension compliance is a little sketchy on such uneven surfaces. I have a set of hotchkis F/R sitting in my room still for when I was going to go that route, but decided against it. bump.

hm interested in the steering rack bushings. How much do you think lic would charge for them installed? Oh and I've got some zaino sitting at home waiting to be split between my car and my brother's s4 avant.

drill + bits + steel wool = gutted uppipe. Free if you already have tools, or can borrow em, it will look completely stock, plus it can be a brother bonding experience .

Dremel tool + sanding bits + manifolds = ported manifolds and other bits. again Free if you have the tools but probobly a little more advanced then gutting the uppipe.

You can do a ghetto-fabulous (but clean looking) FRAM fuel fileter catch can for $3 (do a search).

VDO gauges. They match closely enough and are cheap.

yea I'm just a bit worried about the carcinogenic nature of cat material. How hard is it to gut? I have a power drill (no hammer drill) and a bunch of different sized bits, but not that attachment that looks like a steel botle brush to get the debris out. Hey, actually a dremel would be good to ask for since I don't have one of those. I think dremel it is. Then I can port the TB.

Has anyone recommended an underdrive pulley? Pretty easy to install, and you should be able to get one used for under $100 (I paid 95 for my Vishnu + belts).

I wouldn't get the uppipe without a new set of gaskets. Adds another $60 or so to the price, but worth it.

Oh wait, I stand corrected... Underdrive pulley was the worst mod I've ever done. Pain in the *** and it sucked. Ended up getting rid of it.
