Hey Nikon,
I noticed that in both of our pictures that the reds are really bland and the blues have some extra pop. You weren't by chance using a cp filter were you?
I couldn't figure out why my reds looked so off. I figure a polarizer filter is similar to a red filter so I was thinking that might have toned down all the shades of red.

Mine were jpeg taken in I s(RGB), saturation, 0 hue.
I'm gonna have to play around with the settings with the same red object to figure it out.

This car sounds HOTTTTTTT rotary FTW!
Being my first UFO event, I was just SHOCKED as to how many people were there. We, SCCA, never get this many folks at a marina event. It was just PACKED!
Overall safety was a concern for me. So many possibly accidents today, and so many idiots with red flags not waving it... just hold it out there. course workers being in the middle of course when cars are coming down the fastest section. I was somewhat in disbelief.
I'll go again. It was worth the seat time for testing and tuning on the RS.

I think its because UFO feels they need 4-6 workers in a group at 6 places on the track just to say everyone worked. They need to have 2 people who can say they are qualified and do a better job than just sending the kids out to stand around and talk.
I think they each course group needs airhorns to honk for everyone instantly to redflag, because workers downstream dont always notice a car catching up or etc...

The great thing about Prairie City is that if you pay the rangers $5 admission, you have free run of the entire truck area for the entire day. Perfect for 'practice' when you're not running or working.

Hello all,
There were a lot of you scoobs out at the UFO autox Sunday. Many of you running very good times, impressive! My mom was driving the 06 funky pewter/beige color WRX on 18'' Rotas. Otherwise it's stock (until I get to play with it )
Did any of you fine Subaru people happen to capture on camera my Z28 out there racing? It was in run group 2, running the 315/35-17 Kumho slicks on all 4 corners. Also 38 ESP in black on both rear fenders.
It was caught in the background of this photo in the staging lane.
Just wanted to see if anyone had pics of it on the course, none of my buddies brought cameras!
Thanks!

Hell yeah! I talked to your Mom at the last event. I caught up to her on my last run and got a rerun that was even better, so while she was apologizing, I was thanking her
I think it's awesome that she's out there. My wife co-drives with me and is having a blast. Once my kids are old enough... it will be quality family time
