is the truck track smooth? i saw trucks there a year back, they were hauling like 70 mph in places!

They just had some VORRA races last weekend, so right now it's pretty crazy with 1-2 foot berms, but apparently it's all loose and easy to move, so it's looking good for the 20th.

The previous rallycross tracks were nice and smooth and the truck area in general is 'smooth' if you're going fast enough and keep on pedal to power over the dips

Put it this way - I was going much faster than the rock-crawling-type trucks I saw that day, so clearance is fine.

Hugo you and I both know your batteries were fine. You were just intimidated by Nikon camera and BIGGER lens.

Had I known you would feel this way, I would have brought my little Canon point and shoot.
