UFC tonight
Anyone going to watch the UFC fight tonight on PPV? The main event is going to be Couture Vs. Liddell. Does anyone know any sports bars in S.F. that will be playing it?

He was too aggressive. Randy did not wait for the right moment to take chuck
down. He kept charging forward. Chuck backed away and kept throwing.
After a few tries, he got him. Too bad for Randy, good job Chuck.

I like to think Randy did not care because he is such a world class competitor. I swear that guy has the mental game down. Shamrock on the other hand, I think
needs to retire.
It was a good show. Several entertaining fights.

I can't believe it...
Couture went toe to toe with Liddell? Why? Yeah, that might have worked the last time they fought but, you'd have to imagine that Liddell would train harder for this one. He's one of the most feared strikers out there. Why would you risk the belt going toe to toe with a guy that prides himself on the fact that he knocks out most of his competition. Couture is one of the most feared ground guys. Why not take a striker out of his element (especially when the belt is on the line) and bring him into your world where you have the advantage? I just don't get it. My only theory is that Couture, knowing that he would have beaten Liddell on the ground, wanted to prove to himself that he can win at the stand up fight. Obviously not. I called it within the first 20 seconds. My exact words were, "Oh God, I can't believe he hasn't shot in yet. If he doesn't shoot, Liddell will knock him out."
Liddell just waited patiently, like a boxer should, for that hole to open up in Coutures defense....didn't take long.
Oh well, my guess is that in the re-match, it's going to the mat in the first 5 seconds.

How about this question,
Who else is there in that weight class that can give either fighter a challenge?
