Is Nate moving back down to LW now that big bro Nick is gunning for GSP's strap?
You're talking about Condit who's got BJ in his next one. I love the slo-mo replay of him & Hardy throwin' at the same time w/ Condit's coming cleaner & more flush.
**EDIT**
Btw, I'm a li'l surprised that the bantam title main card is non-PPV. It's almost like a slap in the face. I realize we're barely a year out from when we'd see these on Versus, but I'd feel a li'l dissed if I was Cruz & Mighty Mouse, like only Urijah or Aldo deem PPV status. WTF? As the main card stands, it's only maybe a fight away fr asking for paid viewing. Maybe Rich Franklin since his fight against Li'l Nog was scrapped due to Rogerio's shoulder.
Bantamweight Championship bout: Dominick Cruz vs. Demetrious Johnson
Heavyweight bout: Pat Barry vs. Stefan Struve
Welterweight bout: Anthony Johnson vs. Charlie Brenneman (Brenneman's the guy that upset Rick Story a couple months ago)
Lightweight bout: Matt Wiman vs. Mac Danzig (Mac got robbed via early stoppage last time)

S.W.G. --- where'd u get that? any links to this?
Yup, I remember BJ putting in an appeal to the athletic commission, but match outcome was upheld. Yet interesting that they instituted this rule change as result of Grease-gate...
Fr: wikipedia entry on Evolution of Rules in UFC...
UFC 94 – After an incident where George St. Pierre was accused of putting vaseline on his back, corner men were disallowed from bringing vaseline into The Octagon. Lubricant may now only be applied outside The Octagon before the commencement of the first round.
Also, when the fighter's just about to enter the Octagon, his entourage cannot touch him once the cornerman--i.e. "Stitch"-- preps him.

Agreed on Eddie Alvarez, dude is a beast!
As for speedos and vale tudo shorts, anyone that says they're "gay" is just showing what a n00b MMA fan they are -- prior to 2000, almost ALL pro MMA fighters wore the speedos or vale tudo shorts (except the ones that wore their gi, back when that was still legal).

That being said, for me it's usually muay thai shorts or full karategi for striking, and gi pants + rashie for no gi (and of course full gi for gi rolling).

I'm gonna be down in Diego & plan to catch it w/ my cuzzins at a tavern. Should be lots going down on the monitors... Chargers @5, UFC @6 and da Ninerz @7. What a wonderful distraction.
